This was a rip that I cut as an assistant editor. The spot was so well received, The account team and creative at TBWA\CHIAT\DAY presented the cut to Nissan to sell through the spot. We even recorded VO with Robert Downey Jr. for the rip. It was well received at Nissan as well, but killed by the top level of Nissan due to existing oil company relationships at the time.
